Day 91

Since we'll be somewhere in the interior of China next weekend, the Easter bunny came early and the girls had a blast figuring out all the clues to find the baskets at the end of the scavenger hunt.

Day 90

No one in the family is enjoying the warm weather and playing in the backyard more than Pebbles.  She loves the adventures back there and 'protecting' us from the evil dogs next door.  She is an excellent fetcher and loves whatever ball is being thrown her way!

Day 89

The girls have been doing badminton in school and so we got a set for the back yard.  We figure the more fun in the backyard, the better.

Day 88

New Beginnings allows the girls moving from Primary to the Young Women's program a taste of the things that they will be doing with the teenage girls in the new program.  It was a wonderful evening of presentations and performances.

Day 87

One more child to try out basketball in school. Since this one is far more athletic, it may stick this time and become a fun past time for her and the family.

Day 86

The girls found a new passion...rock climbing!  We were at the YMCA and they all had a turn and loved every minute of it!  Now we just need to find a real mountain with padded floors and handy, colourful hand holds!

Day 85

You know you must be getting older when your offspring gets old enough to advance from the Primary (children's program) to the Young Women's (youth program for girls).  She got an award for her work on the Faith In God program she has done over the past 4 years.  Congratulations!!

Day 84

Fun movie night with mom to see the new release of The Hunger Games.  Loved it and the bonding time with the girls.

Day 83

Pebbles is hilarious when she travels.  Her favourite spot in on the passengers lap with her paw on the door.  She always looks like she is cruizin'!  It was funny at this red light when her profile looked exactly like the lion in the RBC logo at the bank in the background, complete with her mane!  Funny dog.

Day 82

Now that it's officially Spring, the bikes have been pulled out of the shed and serviced for loads of fun in the coming months!

Day 81

With my new responsibilities at church to help organize the youth program, there are tons of fun activities to get planned and tonight's Family Feud game was loads of laughs!

Day 80

'Getting to know our fellow sisters in the Gospel' activity was a huge success!  Thanks Susan and Sara and all the wonderful ladies of the church.  Everyone had a blast and lots of laughs getting to know small details about others.

Day 79

Record breaking Spring of 2012 - earliest day (since its technically still winter for 2 more days!) that the lawn was mowed.  Not a lot of green grass yet but got most of the dead grass and leaves off the ground to promote the new seasons growth.

The girls had a fun afternoon at the park by the house.  Another warm (almost) Spring day.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! We love any excuse to dress up and be silly in our house.

Day 76

Report Cards Day! All the girls did great during the last term and received great feedback comments from their teachers. We celebrated with DQ blizzards.

Day 75

It was nice to spend a couple of hours walking and talking with Tamber while the rest of the family was at the YMCA for their Tae Kwon Do class. She is maturing into a beautiful young woman and I am very proud of her!

Day 74

My first activity as Young Women's Secretary. After just one evening with these gals and I love them to pieces. We were taught by a couple of our Young Women how to fold these beautiful paper lilies. We made a bunch in the Young Women's value colors to use as centerpieces for our upcoming New Beginnings. It was a blast!

Day 73

Lyndon sure has a creative way of looking at the world! Take, for example, these colorful wind jackets with their dangling cords...he can even make these interesting!

Day 72

Another day of 12 on 12! A rather ordinary Monday spent running errands and enjoying a wonderful Family Home Evening, complete with delicious cupcakes! Oh, and getting organized for my new calling as YW secretary! LOVE!

Day 71

Lyndon giving service, once again, by traveling out of town to administer the sacrament to a widow (and friend) in the ward. What a great man I married!

Waiting for a train to cross in the city - I'm still amazed by what these machines can haul!

We love sharing our home with those from out of town who come to attend the temple - and babysit their kids, too! This little guy took right to Lyndon :)

 Celebrating "National Women's Day" with my four little ladies. I am proud to be a woman in Zion, and I hope to raise my daughters to be as well.

"Family Fun Night" is even MORE fun when you and your besties all get Butterfly Painted Faces that match! Oh, and if you win TWO cakes in the cake walk...even better!

Day 66

Something special happened to B! The "Cleaning Fairy" noticed that she was working extra hard to earn money for our trip to China, and left this note in her room, along with a $10 bill! Wow! I wish the cleaning fairy would pay ME a visit!

Day 65

A large snowfall, followed by warming temperatures with re-freezing at night has been creating these amazing (and HUGE) icicles everywhere. Beautiful!

A "Sweet" surprise! After having some serious chocolate cravings, a good friend hooked me up with some delicious chocolate treats! Thanks, Karen!

Enjoying a new "toy" at the YMCA - no controllers necessary! Just fun!

Lyndon often gets mistaken for a cop - especially when he is sporting a suit and his shades. He was a mall security guard, once...does that count?
