Our city is filled with beautiful works of art to add beauty to the cityscape. I love the thought that goes into making our city beautiful.

Day 30

Can you see some Pebbles in the photo to the left? She blends right in with the patchy snow and grass that has been our yard all winter. It hardly seems like winter with the lack of snow and the gorgeous sunshine. LOVE IT!

A gorgeous snowfall...finally! What a gorgeous way to wake up on a Sunday morning.

Happiness is an impromptu visit to the local YMCA for a swim!

These are the sights that Lyndon sees every. single. day.  He is lucky to work in a beautiful building downtown and he makes sure to go for walks on his breaks to enjoy the scenery both inside and out!

Day 26

Literacy is vital to succeeding in life, and we love how our school places so much emphasis on this. Our annual "Book and Bagel Breakfast" is a great chance to crack open a good book together, and enjoy breakfast with some friends, too!

Day 25

It wouldn't be winter without the odd visit to the doctor. This time, Brynae got her ears flushed out and both she and Tamber had throat swabs... Congrats! They have strep! WAHOO! Boy, we sure know how to have fun.

Day 24

The same two sister missionaries who stayed with us a few months ago, came for another conference and got to stay with us. We love these gals and we love the wonderful spirit they bring with them. What wonderful examples for our daughters to see!

Day 23

Yes, we can get a little "twisted" sometimes  :) This was a Family Home Evening for the record books!

Day 22

Our first "General Conference Book Club" was a great success! Uplifting conversation, spiritual insights, lots of laughs...loved it!

Day 21

If you are going to design Barbie clothes, you obviously need Barbie-sized hangers! TJ went ahead and made her own with my craft wire. That is ingenuity!

Day 20

A sure sign of growing up...blow drying your own hair! It's a rite of passage for us girls :)

Day 19

First basketball tournament for TJ (or any of our kids!). It's a bit nerve wracking, but she did so well...her team won the last game against some seriously tall girls! Way to go!

Day 18

Modest IS Hottest! The Achievement Days Girls had a Modest Fashion show, which was a smashing success. I'm so glad the girls have such a great group of girls to be friends with, who share the same beliefs and values. It will only bring them happiness in future!

Day 17

Yes, I was one tough cookie when I was immunized for our upcoming trip to China. In fact, I didn't feel anything at all with the first two, and the third was barely uncomfortable. Still, needles are no fun!

Day 16

I spent the morning cleaning out the kitchen drawers. It's amazing the amount of STUFF that we accumulate. I loved purging out the things we don't use to make cleaner, less-cluttered spaces.

Day 15

I am already in love with how my Project Life and my "Take 12" pages are coming together!

9 happy girls + 1 crazy dog = a HUGELY successful "Pampering" birthday for my awesome 10 year old!

A new obsession...baking soft pretzels! This was my first batch and even for a first batch...way too yummy!

JJ, you are such a beautiful girl. Do I tell you that enough? I love how you take such care about your appearance..making sure you look just "right". You exude a confidence I can only wish for! Yep. Beautiful...inside and out!
