TJ brought some brownies and a nice "thank you" note to our local fire fighters ( as a random act of kindness). The best part was being surprised that one of our fire fighters is a photog. client that I just photographed last week! Who knew? LOL!

O Canada. How grateful I am to be a citizen of this amazing country. There is so much to love about being Canadian. Living in a free country and being respected peace-keepers. The glorious landscapes and bountiful resources. Our fellowship one with another -espe

cially when uniting around a hockey team! The freedom to worship how, where, or what we may. The snow - because we can't control it or stop talking about it. Our diversity.

We are not perfect but I believe that, in a pinch, I would look for the first Canadian I could find. We help each other. We reach out. We support each other. I love being Canadian!

I had almost forgotten what a lot of work (and a lot of FUN) photographing weddings is. I always feel so honored to have been asked to be a part of their most special day.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry when I see my "baby" walking to school, hand in hand with her buddies, singing "Isn't it so fun that we are all BFFs?" I'm grateful for her to have great friends at school, but seeing her growing up by leaps and bounds just breaks my heart! I think I'll be happy for her. It will be easier :)

We love our big backyard. Yes, our house is older, but it also means having a larger lot and we get a lot of use out of this fabulous space!

A new school year is often a new beginning. We are getting back into our morning routine of scripture study! The girls are very helpful in getting the scriptures laid out in my spot, and are always happy to listen every morning :)
