The best part about the day after a reception? Enjoying the leftovers! We also got together to watch some of Yuan Li’s television and film work, as well as Blaine’s first documentary! It was wonderful to be all together again.

Happy Day! Meeting Blaine’s beautiful wife, Yuan Li, and sharing their reception was such a highlight. It was fun to get the girls all dressed up in matching dresses, too. What a group!

Familiar sights when traveling from our home in Saskatchewan to our family in Alberta! We will be seeing this a lot this year with our many trips ahead! Lots of open sky and flat prairie.

Money can't buy better friends than the Dilts family. We feel incredibly blessed to know them and to count them as friends. They had us over to dinner and Family Home Evening, and to introduce Pebbles to their dogs before they babysit her this coming weekend.

My sister brings out the weirdo in me. It's what family is best at. I happen to like my weirdo side...especially when my weirdo big sister joins in the fun!

Jayda said it all when she exclaimed "Mom, you have NO IDEA how AWESOME Dino Bouncer is!" She's right, I have no idea just how amazing it is to be a birthday guest at this dino bouncer facility is for a 5 year old :)

Watching "The Vow" with my sister and fellow movie-lover, along with munching on the BEST theater popcorn EVAH = A FAB NIGHT OUT!

The amazing decor makes dining at "Fusion" even better..though it's hard to beat the delicious food as a reason to eat there. YUM!

Official "Day One" of our amazing week-long visit! Time for serious laughing, crafting, movie watching, and visiting. Bring it on!

Celebrating 100 days of school! That means 100 packed lunches, 200 recesses, 200 times walking to and from school, and 100 days smarter!

I enjoyed hanging out with the Tondevold kids before our General Conference Book Club meeting. They had me in stitches! I love those kiddos.

A well-deserved meal at Burger King with the Claytons after working hard cleaning the chapel! We love to do our part!

Day 34

An everyday occurrence in our home and in this digital age. Both of us sitting on our bed, iphones plugged in, and us working on our laptops. Together, but not quite. Thankfully it doesn't last long before we are un-plugged and back to paying attention to each other.

Lyndon's birthday was a completely foggy one! It was eerily beautiful. Lyndon also got to read 35 things we love about him for his 35th birthday!

Our city is filled with beautiful works of art to add beauty to the cityscape. I love the thought that goes into making our city beautiful.

Can you see some Pebbles in the photo to the left? She blends right in with the patchy snow and grass that has been our yard all winter. It hardly seems like winter with the lack of snow and the gorgeous sunshine. LOVE IT!

Happiness is an impromptu visit to the local YMCA for a swim!

These are the sights that Lyndon sees every. single. day.  He is lucky to work in a beautiful building downtown and he makes sure to go for walks on his breaks to enjoy the scenery both inside and out!

Literacy is vital to succeeding in life, and we love how our school places so much emphasis on this. Our annual "Book and Bagel Breakfast" is a great chance to crack open a good book together, and enjoy breakfast with some friends, too!

Day 25

It wouldn't be winter without the odd visit to the doctor. This time, Brynae got her ears flushed out and both she and Tamber had throat swabs... Congrats! They have strep! WAHOO! Boy, we sure know how to have fun.

Day 24

The same two sister missionaries who stayed with us a few months ago, came for another conference and got to stay with us. We love these gals and we love the wonderful spirit they bring with them. What wonderful examples for our daughters to see!

Yes, we can get a little "twisted" sometimes  :) This was a Family Home Evening for the record books!

Our first "General Conference Book Club" was a great success! Uplifting conversation, spiritual insights, lots of laughs...loved it!

If you are going to design Barbie clothes, you obviously need Barbie-sized hangers! TJ went ahead and made her own with my craft wire. That is ingenuity!

A sure sign of growing up...blow drying your own hair! It's a rite of passage for us girls :)
